As per the latest reports coming in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will complete the last schedule of Brahmastra in Hungary, Budapest post-August this year.

Ayan Mukerji’s forthcoming directorial Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, is one of the highly anticipated films for obvious reasons. The movie has been the talk of the town ever since it went on floors in 2018. To note, Alia and Ranbir’s love reportedly blossomed on the sets of Brahmastra, which also marks their first outing together. A few months back, the shooting of the same was halted after its lead actors Ranbir and Alia contracted the deadly COVID 19 virus.


Now, with the actors recovering from the virus and following the eased-in lockdown restrictions, it is said that the Sanju actor and the Raazi actress are all set to shoot for the final leg of the film in Budapest. According to a report in a news portal, filmmaker Ayan is planning to kick start the shooting of the last schedule post-August. It is said that the cast and the crew of the fantasy drama will be vaccinated and then they will jet off to Budapest for the last schedule of the movie. Given that the international flights are likely to resume post-August, the crew will fly to Budapest to give final touches to the film.

Earlier, Pinkvilla reported that the makers of Brahmastra are looking at a Summer 2022 release. A source close to the development was quoted as saying, “A lot of films were expected to be released this year, however, everything’s changed because of the second wave of Covid 19. The makers of Brahmastra is now looking at a Summer 2022 release."

The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles
